Caprylic/capric triglyceride

The caprylic triglyceride used by ananné is obtained from coconuts. It stabilises emulsions and makes the skin supple.

Rosa canina seed oil

Rosehip seed oil contains many nutrients and active ingredients, including high levels of alpha linolenic acid. It stimulates cell renewal and gives the skin long-lasting smoothness. It also promotes the formation of the skin’s natural lipid barrier. ananné uses a certified organic product.

Dicaprylyl ether

Plant-based dicaprylyl ether improves the skin's absorption of other substances. It leaves the skin feeling pleasantly soft.

Squalane

The squalane used by ananné is obtained from plant-based raw materials and improves the skin’s ability to absorb substances.

Cetyl alcohol

ananné uses cetyl alcohol obtained from plant oils, which increases the viscosity and stability of emulsions, enabling them to be applied easily to the skin.

Cetearyl alcohol

ananné uses cetearyl alcohol obtained from plant oils which improves the stability of emulsions. It is closer to a wax than an alcohol and makes the skin supple.

Arachidyl alcohol

Arachidyl alcohol improves the skin’s moisture-binding properties.

Cetearyl glucoside

ananné uses a plant-based cetearyl glucoside. It promotes the skin’s ability to absorb moisture.

Behenyl alcohol

ananné uses behenyl alcohol obtained from plant oils. It is used for its stabilising effect in emulsions, and makes emulsions and creams easier to apply to the skin.

Arachidyl glucoside

Arachidyl glucoside is a plant-based glucoside. It calms and softens the skin and regulates its moisture balance.

Oenothera biennis (evening primrose) seed oil

Evening primrose oil has an unusually high content of linolenic acid and gamma linolenic acid, which is extremely rare. It stabilises the skin’s lipid barrier, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and balances the skin’s moisture content.

Citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit oil

Bergamot oil is obtained from the skin of bitter oranges. Bergamot oil has wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. It also tones the skin, reduces sebum production, and refines the skin’s appearance. ananné uses a bergapten-free certified organic oil.

Gluconolactone

Gluconolactone is a plant-based preservative attested to have excellent tolerance levels. It has a moisture-binding effect and natural UV protection.

Lupinus albus seed oil

White lupin seed oil stimulates the skin’s regeneration process.

Triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil unsaponifiables

Wheat germ oil contains high levels of precious vitamin E. This vitamin acts as an antioxidant, fighting the effects of free radicals and building up effective cell protection. Wheat oil moisturises the skin, combats skin ageing, and improves the structure of the skin.

Parfum (fragrance)

ananné uses natural fragrances that meet the strict organic certification standards of ECOCERT and BDIH.

Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter)

The oil from nuts from the African shea tree balances the skin’s moisture content. Rich in valuable ingredients and important vitamins, it nourishes the cutis and moisturises the skin. Shea butter provides natural UV protection. ananné uses certified organic oil from a Fair Trade source.

Prunus domestica seed extract

Plum kernel oil nourishes and smoothes the skin. It is very easily absorbed by the upper layers of the epidermis.

Sahel scenedesmus extract

Scenedesmus plankton extract from the Sahel desert stimulates skin cell metabolism by helping to eliminate decomposition, improving the ability of cells to regenerate.

Borago officinalis seed extract

Borage seed extracts increase the skin’s ability to absorb moisture.

Ubiquinone

Ubiquinone (also known as Coenzyme Q10) is found in numerous organisms. The raw material used by ananné is obtained from plant sources. Ubiquinone is largely used in cosmetics to eliminate harmful radicals and improve the ability of cells to regenerate.

Laminaria ochroleuca extract

This brown algae extract stimulates the skin’s natural protection against damaging UV radiation.

Sodium hydroxide

Small quantities of sodium hydroxide are used to balance pH values to improve the skin’s tolerance levels.

Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil

Jojoba oil is extremely easily absorbed by the upper layers of the epidermis and is very well tolerated. It has antibacterial properties and a moisture-binding effect.

Glycerine

Glycerine is formed from yeast. It is used in cosmetics for its moisture-binding properties.

Hydrolyzed algin

Algin is obtained from various brown algae and supports the skin’s water-binding properties, particularly in the upper layers of the epidermis. Algin is rich in minerals and vitamins B and C, which are substances used in cell metabolism.

Salicornia herbacea extract

Glasswort extract has anti-oxidant and deep cleansing properties. It harmonises the skin’s moisture balance.

Leptospermum scoparium branch/leaf oil

Manuka oil is obtained from the New Zealand tea tree. The oil has an antiseptic effect and is particularly suitable for removing skin impurities.

Tocopherol

Tocopherol is better known as vitamin E, and is an important element in cell walls in human and animal organisms.

Chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract

Camomile flower extract has an anti-inflammatory, toning, and antiseptic effect and stimulates the skin’s ability to regenerate.

Calodendrum capense nut oil

Yangu oil comes from one of the most beautiful trees in Africa, the Calodendrum capense (cape chestnut). Yangu oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, making it very nourishing for the skin. It has natural UV protection.

Hippophae rhamnoides oil

Sea buckthorn seed oil has been used in skin care since time immemorial. It contains anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids that have a regenerative effect and protect the skin from the sun’s rays. Sea buckthorn also supports the skin’s lipid barrier. ananné uses a quality certified organic product.

Madecassoside

Indian pennywort (centella asiatica) extract promotes the rebuilding of skin structure and revitalises the skin’s ability to regenerate, particularly by acting on the formation of collagen I and II.

Xanthan gum

Xanthan is a natural thickening agent which also increases viscosity. It is also found in many (organic) foods.

Chondrus crispus (carrageenan) extract

Carrageenan is obtained from red algae (Eucheuma spinosum and Eucheuma cottonii) and helps give skin care products a pleasantly creamy consistency.

Calendula officinalis flower extract

A well-known medicinal plant. Marigold extract stimulates the skin’s ability to regenerate and reduces its proneness to irritation. Soothes the skin.

Sodium benzoate

The sodium benzoate used by ananné is obtained from plant-based raw materials and extends the shelf life of cosmetics. It is also approved for preserving food. Natural sources of sodium benzoate include cinnamon, cloves, apples, and other varieties of fruit.

Calcium gluconate

Calcium gluconate is a mineral product and is extremely well tolerated. It promotes a stable skin moisture balance.

Linalool

Linalool is a fragrance that is also present in coriander, lavender, rosewood, and marjoram. It gives our skin care products a floral and slightly spicy aroma.

Geraniol

Geraniol is contained in many essential oils and is used for its subtle fragrance.

Limonene

Limonene is a natural aroma from citrus fruits that is used at low concentrations in ananné products for its subtle fragrance.

Citral

Citral comes from citrus fruit and has a fruity, aromatic fragrance. It is used at very low concentrations in ananné products for dry and sensitive skin.
