Behenyl alcohol

ananné uses behenyl alcohol obtained from plant oils. It is used for its stabilising effect in emulsions, and makes emulsions and creams easier to apply to the skin.

Cetyl alcohol

ananné uses cetyl alcohol obtained from plant oils, which increases the viscosity and stability of emulsions, enabling them to be applied easily to the skin.

Arachidyl glucoside

Arachidyl glucoside is a plant-based glucoside. It calms and softens the skin and regulates its moisture balance.

Gluconolactone

Gluconolactone is a plant-based preservative attested to have excellent tolerance levels. It has a moisture-binding effect and natural UV protection.

Parfum (fragrance)

Rosa canina seed oil

Hippophae rhamnoides oil

Sea buckthorn seed oil has been used in skin care since time immemorial. It contains anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids that have a regenerative effect and protect the skin from the sun’s rays. Sea buckthorn also supports the skin’s lipid barrier. ananné uses a quality certified organic product.

Salicornia herbacea extract

Glasswort extract has anti-oxidant and deep cleansing properties. It harmonises the skin’s moisture balance.

Citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit oil

Bergamot oil is obtained from the skin of bitter oranges. Bergamot oil has wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. It also tones the skin, reduces sebum production, and refines the skin’s appearance. ananné uses a bergapten-free certified organic oil.

Sodium hydroxide

Small quantities of sodium hydroxide are used to balance pH values to improve the skin’s tolerance levels.

Borago officinalis seed oil

Borage seed oil has a soothing effect on irritated or reddened skin and harmonises its moisture balance.

Hydrogenated vegetable oil

Hydrogenated wheat germ oil has an improved consistency in comparison to natural wheat germ oil, making it easier to apply to the skin without feeling greasy.

Laminaria ochroleuca extract

This brown algae extract stimulates the skin’s natural protection against damaging UV radiation.

Papaya carica (papaya) leaf extract

Extracts of papaya leaf contain many active ingredients which have a purifying effect down to the deeper skin layers and can even remove pigmentation spots. The extract promotes the elimination of deposits. ananné uses a certified organic product from a Fair Trade source.

Polygonum fagopyrum extract

Buckwheat extract has a tightening effect on the deeper skin layers.

Lavendula stoechas extract

Topped lavender oil has a soothing effect on skin prone to irritation or reddening and harmonises its moisture balance.

Madecassoside

Indian pennywort (centella asiatica) extract promotes the rebuilding of skin structure and revitalises the skin’s ability to regenerate, particularly by acting on the formation of collagen I and II.

Xanthan gum

Xanthan is a natural thickening agent which also increases viscosity. It is also found in many (organic) foods.

Chondrus crispus (carrageenan) extract

Carrageenan is obtained from red algae (Eucheuma spinosum and Eucheuma cottonii) and helps give skin care products a pleasantly creamy consistency.

Sodium benzoate
